- We have a fantastic opportunity for a Deputy Nursery Manger in Uxbridge, Hillingdon
This Deputy Nursery Manager role in Uxbridge, Hillingdon will initially be more room based than office based - the focus is on role modelling, training, delivering great childcare and helping to train existing members of staff in key areas such as Fundamental British Values, really good EYFS, Safeguarding, Prevent etc. This is a permanent, full time position based on 40 hours per week Opening hours from 07.30-18.30. Ofsted rated Good, the setting is 3 rooms and can accommodate up to 70 children.
Offering a competitive salary of:
£23,000.00 – £25,000.00 per year – depending on experience.
Responsibilities of the Deputy Nursery Manger in Uxbridge, Hillingdon:- Observations, planning and maintaining your own and monitoring the teams learning journeys in accordance to the EYFS.
- Promoting best practice in the nursery.
- Displaying a real passion for childcare.
- Effectively lead and manage a team.
- Communicate well with management, colleagues, parents and children.
- Lead by example.
- Have good knowledge of Ofsted
What are we looking for in the Deputy Nursery Manger in Uxbridge, Hillingdon?- Minimum Level 3 in Childcare.
- Experience in managing a team
- Solid understanding of Health and Safety procedures and policies within a nursery.
- Strong communication skills.
- A passion for delivering the best Childcare Provision.
- EYFS, Safeguarding, FGM, FBV and First Aid knowledge is important.
- DBS and First Aid certification required.
