Description

Bamboo Childcare are recruiting for a Deputy Nursery Manager on behalf of our client based within a reputable company in Aberdeen.

This is a permanent full time position for 40 hrs per week over 5 days Monday to Friday.

The company can offer the following for the Deputy Nursery Manager:

Requirements of the Deputy Nursery Manager in Aberdeen:

A passionate and positive attitude
Must have SVQ3, HNC or equivalent in childcare
Must have at least 2 years experience in childcare and have previously been in a senior role.
The BA is an advantage, but not a necessity, although the nursery would prefer that applicants be willing to undertake the BA in the future.
Good understanding of the curriculum.
Knowledge and understanding of key legislation related to childcare and education
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
A positive attitude, good initiative, confident and approachable

The role of Deputy Nursery Manager will include:

Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
Ensuring health, safety and well-being of the children at all times
Supporting the Nursery Manager with all tasks
