Bamboo Recruitment Ltd provides a permanent recruitment service, training, networking and consultancy services.
We are committed to ensuring the safety and privacy of our candidates, clients and visitors to our site and want to provide a safe and secure user experience. We will ensure that all the information provided to us via our website, email and directly to our consultants/employees abides by this policy.
What information do we collect? 
Bamboo Recruitment Ltd may collect your personal details, including but not limited to your name and contact details (together with your e-mail address) and other relevant information from your CV. On occasions this may also include - sensitive personal information such as details of criminal convictions and ethnic origin. This information is held, used and disclosed by us as follows:
1. to provide our services to you for both our recruitment and training divisions;
2. to maintain our business relationship, where you are a user of our website, a client or candidate;
3. to enable you to submit your CV for general applications, to apply for specific jobs or to subscribe to our job alerts. Please see the separate section on your CV below which outlines additional uses and disclosures;
4. to match your details with job vacancies, to assist us in finding a position that is most suitable for you and to send your personal information (including sensitive personal information) to clients in order to apply for jobs;
5. To enable us to enrol you onto a short course, Apprenticeship or or NVQ qualification
6. to answer your enquiries;
7. to direct-market products and services, advise you of news and industry updates, events, promotions and competitions, reports and other information. Where we do so, you will be able to unsubscribe from such communications;
8. to fulfil contractual obligations with our clients
9. by the Bamboo Recruitment Ltd group of companies to enable the development and marketing of other products and services and to improve our customer service and to make our services more valuable to you, including tailoring our website and our group companies including training, networking and consultancy services

Data collected by this service is used to improve our website usability. The information collected is stored and is used for aggregated and statistical reporting, and is not shared with anybody else.
How do we collect information? 
We collate information from direct applications through our website and partner jobs boards. We also actively source suitable candidates from social media sites and jobs boards whom meet the criteria of our vacancies. We only use contact information that is provided by these websites in line with the privacy policy of that site. We also collect information provided to us directly by potential learners for the purpose of training courses.
Job opportunity notifications:
To subscribe to job alerts emails, you will be required to provide your e-mail address, which will be used for the purpose of keeping you informed, by e-mail, of the latest jobs in your nominated industry and/or will provide you with industry news. Should you decide that you no longer wish to receive this information, unsubscribe links are provided in every job alert email that you receive. Job alerts can also be received via text message if we have your telephone number.
Curriculum vitae ("CV")
We give you the option of submitting your CV via our website or by providing your CV to one of our consultants. You can do this either to apply for a specific advertised job or for consideration by our recruitment consultants for positions as they come up. Your CV will be stored in the Bamboo Recruitment Ltd database, and will be accessible by our recruitment consultants.
Maintaining of personal information:
Bamboo Recruitment Ltd will keep your information for an indefinite period to keep you updated on relevant job alerts as above, training and networking events within the sector. You Can opt out of these by simply responding to alerts or emailing  enquiries@bamboochildcare.co.uk  and requesting either to simply ‘opt out’ of alerts or for your personal information to be deleted from our database.
How do we share your information:
Once we have received your permission for us to represent you to our clients we send over a branded CV that does not disclose any personal contact information
Once you are selected for interview with one of our clients you may be requested to complete their internal recruitment forms with your personal data included. You must ensure you are made aware of their privacy policies at this point, however we will endeavour to ensure they have similar undertakings of privacy and confidentiality as Bamboo Recruitment Ltd.
We may also be directly requested to share your personal information with our clients, once we are engaging with them on your behalf in relation to a particular job opportunity. Your data will only be shared with your permission.
We also share our learners information with governing bodies for legal and contractual reasons in order for the courses to be completed and verified.

You also have the right to ask Bamboo Recruitment Ltd to stop using your information. However, if this involves a request for deletion of your file, please be aware that we may not be required or able to do so, particularly where your file also holds information about our clients or financial information that we need to keep for periods of up to six years, i.e. that relate to tax matters. Where we are unable to comply with your request we will provide reasons for failing to do so.
