Safeguarding Training Courses
If you work with children and vulnerable people frequently within your job role then it’s essential that you have a good understanding of safeguarding practices and procedures
Our Safeguarding courses aim to provide you with this knowledge and understanding, so you know what your responsibilities are, and can feel confident in identifying potential signs of abuse and report any concerns that you may have.
The introduction to safeguarding training gives information on recognising signs of abuse and neglect, how to deal with your concerns to enable you to be confident in your practise protecting the children in your care.
If you are the Designated Safeguarding Officer we would recommend the Designated Lead Safeguarding Training as you will be the main point of contact for the rest of the staff team, families and other people who come into contact with your company and therefore need to have a more in-depth understanding of child protection procedures
All our training courses are delivered by industry trained Professionals who also work as Assessors in the sector. As such the courses use relevant examples from the sector to demonstrate relevant aspects of child protection. The courses are interactive and use a combination of verbal, written and group exercises to keep your interest and enable you to develop a firm understanding which will support you in ensuring your ability to keep children and others safe from harm.
The basic safeguarding courses are 2 hours and can be delivered during staff meetings in an evening or online.
Cost for basic safeguarding is £35pp + VAT for classroom based or £300+VAT for 10+ learners (online course is £30+VAT)
The Designated Lead Safeguarding Training is a 6-hour course.
