- Description
- Nursery Cook required to cater for young children in a medium sized early years setting (approximately 60 place) in the Knutsford area.
MUST HAVE FORMAL CATERING EXPERIENCE WITHIN A NURSERY, SCHOOL OR CARE HOME
What the employer can offer for the Nursery Cook role in Knutsford area:- 40 hours Monday to Friday (may consider part time hours 25 hours a week)
- £10.50 - £12.50 per hour

- Level 2 or above Food & Hygiene or equivalent.
- Experience of catering in either a Nursery, School, or Care Home
- A love of children
- Responsible and reliable attitude – children need to eat each day!
- A caring and kind personality – warm towards the children
- Strong adherence to allergens and allergen awareness
- Strict attitude to food safety, food hygiene and cleanliness
- Preparing and catering lunch for approx 60 children daily from an existing menu plan.
- Responsible for stock levels, budget control and ordering of stock.
- Ensuring cleanliness of kitchen at all time.
- Following guidelines with regards to catering for children.
