- Description
- Bamboo Childcare are currently recruiting a full time Deputy Group Manager for our clients playwork provisions across the Altrincham area.
What you can expect from the role:- Competitive salary £25.5k - 28k per annum
- Monday - Friday - full time - 40 hours 8 - 6pm (8 - 9am and 3- 6pm in clubs and rest of time completing administration in office)

- Holiday increase by 1 day per year following the 1 st completed year of service to a maximum of 33 days including Bank Holidays.
- Level 3 in childcare or playwork
- Senior / Management level experience within playwork or childcare environment
- Experience of reviews and appraisals
- Good organisational skills for planning of activities
- Assisting the Group Manager in tracking the quality and compliance across the settings and overseeing delivery of policies and procedures.
- Responsible for assisting in the recruitment, induction, supervisions and training of staff.
- Reporting on the quality of the provision you find at the settings during focused visits and gather evidence to make recommendations to the Club Leaders.
- To demonstrate current knowledge and understanding of the EYFS.
- To ensure the smooth running of the settings including management of staff.
- To provide the highest standards of childcare and excellent levels of customer service at all times.
- To understand fully and adhere to the company’s policies and procedures at all times.
- To have an understanding that safeguarding is everybody’s responsibility and that you have a duty to act accordingly & report any concerns.
- Supporting both the team and the Group Manager
- Taking responsibility, in the absence of the Group Manager
