- Description
- We are recruiting for an experienced Nursery Manager for a new setting in the Chipping Norton area of Oxfordshire.
this role requires an experienced Nursery manager whom is able to support the owner in the setting up of the provision including, implementing policies and procedures, dealing with Ofsted and outside agencies and the recruitment of a staff team

- To have worked as a Nursery manager and gained a minimum 'Good' rating inspection
- level 3 in childcare - ideally with further qualifications
- understanding of a safer recruitment
- ability to manage staff team effectively for 'best outcomes for children'
- To have the confidence and skills to set up quality childcare provision from scratch
- Creating an educational, stimulating and nurturing environment for children
- Ensuring the curriculums are delivered and met at all times.
- Ensuring Safeguarding procedures are followed
- Recircuiting and training a staff team to develop positive professional relationships with parents/carers and that children are provided with an environment that respects diversity
- Ensuring that child/staff ratios are adhered to at all times .
- Responsible for managing all aspects of Safer Recruitment, Health and Safety and Human Resources.
- Actively promote and support the protection of children and young people in the workplace, ensuring that all staff and volunteers observe nursery policies and procedures to keep children safe from harm.
- Help lead and support staff to implement the EYFS
- Monitor and evaluate practice within playrooms to support improvements.
- Work with parents/carers of all children to achieve full integration in the nursery.
- Foresee the needs of all children, families and staff and give wellbeing guidance as appropriate.
- Support all staff and lead a good staff team with high morale.
- Liaise with and support parents/carers and other family members.
- Liaise with the Local Authority and other professionals for the best outcomes for all children.
- To promote the high standards of the nursery at all times to parents, staff and visitors
