- Bamboo Childcare are recruiting on behalf of our client - a beautiful small nursery for children aged 0-5 years based in a school grounds, Ofsted rated "Outstanding" private day nursery based in Slough
Key Responsibilities of the Nursery Manager job in Slough- Ensuring a high standard of physical, personal, emotional, social care and education for all children in the nursery
- Leading the team of nursery nurses and room managers; setting the direction for the setting in the short, medium and longer term, and supervising and supporting the team to ensure the highest standards of practice day to day
- The day-to-day management of the nursery including quality improvement, administration, communication as required.
We are looking for someone with experience in a senior position and would suit a current Deputy looking to step up or a manager looking to work in a small setting -- The role is available on a full time, permanent basis - the nursery is open from 8am to 6pm and you would be expected to work a shift in between these hours.
- Available to work full-time
- Level 3 qualified or higher
- Experience working as a Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager at a Good or Outstanding setting
- Expert knowledge of the OFSTED Framework, Early Years requirements and legislation
- Safeguarding Designated Officer trained
- Thorough knowledge of SEND (SENCO trained is desirable)
