- Description
- Playwork Manager required for a new wraparound care (extended school provision) providing before and afterschool care to children aged 3 years to 11 years in the Prestbury area of Cheshire.
This role is a permanent position and can be 30 - 40 hours a week all year round or term time only
What they can offer for the Playwork Manager role in Prestbury, Cheshire- Approx £18k - 24k per annum (£18k per annum based on 40hrs a week term time only and £24k for 40hrs a week all year round but role can be for 30 hrs a week and would be prorata)
- Core hours of service - 7am until 9am and 3pm until 6pm term time and additional 5 - 15 hours administration (admin can be completed at home if preferred)
- If working all year round would cover holiday club.
- Any hours completed over 40 would be paid as overtime
- Free childcare (during periods of operation - school holidays and before and after school)
- A comprehensive pension scheme with employer contributions
- Level 3 in Childcare.
- Leadership experience within a childcare setting
- Ideally experience working with Ofsted
- Organisational skills
- Interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Positive individual that loves working as a team
- Paediatric First Aid training
- Punctuality, patience, reliability and trustworthiness.
- Displaying a real passion for childcare.
- Communicate well with management, colleagues, parents and children.
- Ensure the needs of the children are met, giving physical, emotional and intellectual guidance as appropriate.
- Snacks duty
- Promoting best practice in the setting
- Effectively supporting and supervising team members
