- Nursery Cook / Chef required to cater for young children in a large early years setting in theBurnage and Withington area of Greater Manchester.
IDEALLY HAVE FORMAL CATERING EXPERIENCE WITHIN A NURSERY, SCHOOL OR CARE HOME
What the employer can offer for the Nursery Cook / Chef role in Burnage / Withington area of Greater Manchester:- The role can be part time or full time. If part time would be 30 hrs minimum
- Working Monday to Friday (no weekends)
- £9.50+ per hour
- Company pension
- Level 2 or above Food & Hygiene or equivalent.
- Experience of catering in either a Nursery, School, or Care Home
- A love of children
- Responsible and reliable attitude – children need to eat each day!
- A caring and kind personality – warm towards the children
- Strong adherence to allergens and allergen awareness
- Strict attitude to food safety, food hygiene and cleanliness
- Preparing and catering lunch for approx 70 children daily from an existing menu plan.
- Responsible for stock levels, budget control and ordering of stock.
- Ensuring cleanliness of kitchen at all time.
- Following guidelines with regards to catering for children.
