- Nursery Cook required to cater for young children in a large sized early years’ setting in Banbury
What the employer can offer for the Nursery Cook role in the Banbury area:- Role can be full or part time. Minimum hours 30 hours a week to 40 (core hours 8am until 3pm)
- £10.00 - £11.00 per hour
- Additional benefits
- Level 2 or above Food & Hygiene or equivalent.
- Ideally experience of catering in either a Nursery, School, or Care Home, but if not good understanding of allergies and food intolerances
- A love of children
- Responsible and reliable attitude – children need to eat each day!
- A caring and kind personality – warm towards the children
- Strong adherence to allergens and allergen awareness
- Strict attitude to food safety, food hygiene and cleanliness
- Preparing and catering meals for .children daily from an existing menu plan.
- Responsible for stock levels, budget control and ordering of stock.
- Ensuring cleanliness of kitchen at all time.
- Following guidelines with regards to catering for children.
