- Description
- We have an exciting opportunity for an Buisness Acquisitions Assistant to support an expanding Nursey chain. The role will be home based with occasional travel to the head office in London and to visit existing and potential new sites in and around the London area.
The role is to support the CEO in managing the logistics of acquisition transactions. This will include researching into suitable business to acquire and then supporting the planning and execution of the financial transaction.
Duties of the Busienss Acquisitions Assistant will include:- Reviewing potential or proposed acquisitions to ensure that they are a good fit for the company strategically and financially.
- Negotiation contract terms and purchase price
- Supporting the CEO to create long term purchasing strategies.
- Produce and Maintain Reports
- Creating and maintaining management reports prior to and after acquisitions.
- Keep and record files that include: items purchased, item costs, inventories, and product performance.
- Be able to communicate effectively with company executives and varying levels of staff as well as connect and network with professionals outside of the organisation
- Good organisation skills and the ability to work on projects simultaneously
- Have an attention to detail in terms of reviewing contracts

- mathematical ability to understand statistics and purchasing processes
- To have previous experience of successful business acquisitions
- Strong IT skills
- An understanding of the Nursery market would be ideal but not desirable
