- Description
- We are recruiting for a Nursery Manager in the Altrincham area of Greater Manchester.
The setting is a quality driven provision providing full daycare for children aged 0 -5 years.
This is a permanent full time position (40 hrs a week)

- Previous and recent management experience within an early years setting, with responsibility for the daily running of a setting.
- Experience of working in an Ofsted graded 'Good' or 'Outstanding' setting with experience leading an Ofsted inspection
- Excellent communication skills and leadership skills
- A passionate and positive attitude towards working with children
- A full and relevant child care qualification (level 3 or above)
- Being responsible and accountable for the day to day operational and organisational aspects of the nursery in line with policies and procedures, safeguarding, Ofsted requirements, local authority guidance, health and safety and equal opportunities.
- Ensure that all aspects of the Statutory Framework for Early Years Foundation Stage and welfare requirements are delivered to the highest standard.
- Work in partnership with local childcare / education providers, health providers and all other agencies.
- Develop and maintain procedures for review and assessment of each child’s progress.
- Be a role model for your staff team
