- Bamboo Childcare are recruiting a Nursery Manager on behalf of our client - a beautiful medium setting in the City of London. it has wonderful resources including spacious gardens and play areas outside. Plus offering additional learning opportunities for children including instruments and languages.
The role is 40 hours per week working 4 days, 8.00 am - 6.00 pm
The role is office-based and we welcome applicants who are existing managers or very experienced Deputy, Managers

- Must have experience working extensively as a Manager or Deputy Manager level.
- Must be at least Level 3 qualified ideally with a degree or management/leadership training
- Have led/been involved with a successful Ofsted inspection
- Have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families
- Experience of managing/supervising staff WITH extensive knowledge of Safeguarding
- Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside agencies
- Able to demonstrate multi-agency working and experience of leading staff meetings.
- Managing and maintaining administration requirements
- Complete management of the setting, including, personnel and administration aspects
- liaising with outside agencies
- Developing parent partnership and community links
- Ensure that all children attending the setting are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
- Ensuring that all legislation in relation to Ofsted registration, special needs, safeguarding and Health and Safety is complied with and that company policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Deploying staff appropriately
- Co-ordination of tasks and responsibilities and the ability to delegate where necessary
- Attending meetings and marketing events on occasion outside of work hours
