- Bamboo Childcare are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a qualified Nursery Room Leader in the area of Hale in Greater Manchester.
The nursery has been operating since 2004 and is based in a large detached house with a a large outside play area. The nursery has 4 rooms and caters for children aged 0-5. Our client is a beautiful private nursery setting - the setting is Ofsted rated "Good" and has spaces for roughly 55 children.
The role will primarily be based with children under the age of 2, but having experience working with all ages from 0-5 would be ideal as you may be occasionally asked to cover other rooms depending on staffing levels.
You will be given your own key group of children to teach, track and observe, as well as providing feedback to parents and developing learning environments. You will also be responsible for managing a small team in the room - experience of doing this is essential, either as a Room Leader, or stepping up when your Room Leader has been away from work. We are happy to consider senior practitioners with some experience in this area who are looking to step up to the next level in there career.
A relevant childcare qualification is essential (level 3), as well as being close to the Hale area as the role is full time/permanent. The setting is open from 7.30am to 6.30pm and you would be expected to work a shift in between these hours. The contract is for 40 hours, although the nursery are happy for staff to work either 5 regular days or 4 longer days.
