- Description
- We are recruiting for a Room Leader for a Nursery in Romsey, Hampshire This is a permanent full-time position, 40 hrs per week, Monday to Friday.
This nursery is part of a family of nurseries, they share learning, creative ideas and best practice across all sites, to continuously enhance the quality of provisions and professional development opportunities for the team.
The setting is Ofsted rated Good, and is a large setting with a fantastic outdoor provision, is open from 07.30am to 6.00pm, Onsite parking is also available.
he role of Room Leader will include:- Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
- Ensuring health, safety and well-being of the children at all times
- Being a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS
- leading a team of practitioners
- Ensuring ratios are adhered to at all times
- Checking paperwork is completed appropriately
- Minimum level 3 in childcare and post-qualifying work experience or relevant degree
- worked with babies
- Ability to plan effectively within the EYFS
- To complete observations
- Excellent communication skills
