- We are recruiting for a compassionate and experienced Childcare professional to work as Residential Support Worker (RCW) for a respite service that supports young people aged 11 - 17 years with emotional and behavioural needs (EBD) in St Helens Merseyside
Due to the nature of this role, applicants must have a level 3 Children and young people or equivalent and 1 year of experience working with children with EBD
The company is a fantastic service that has exceptionally high levels of service for children with complex needs. This is a unique respite service that focusses on outdoor activities.

- Must hold a Recognised qualification Level 3 Children & Young People or Children and Young People’s Workforce or equivalent.
- · Minimum of 1 year of recent experience working within a children's residential service
- Desirable Full driving licence
- Have a positive attitude towards working with young people, love outdoor and activity working
- Ability to write clear and accurate reports
- An enhanced DBS certificate will be required upon appointment.
Main duties and Responsibilities:- To support young people to achieve maximum potential
- Undertaking 24hrs shifts with “sleep-in” duties in accordance with the home’s rota.
- Support and participate in young people's social, life-long learning plans and recreational activities in line with care plans, trips out and holidays.
- Act as a Key worker to specified individual young person,
