Due to the nature of this role, applicants must have a level 3 Children and young people or equivalent and 3 years experience working within a children's residential service
Plus a car driver and owner is an essential requirement.
We are recruiting for a compassionate and experienced Childcare professional to work as Senior Residential Support Worker (Senior RCW) for a home that supports young people aged 11 - 17 years with emotional and behavioural needs (EBD) in Twickenham, Greater London.
The company is a small new business with has the care of young people embedded into the whole ethos of the organisation including their recruitment process.

· Salary £11 - £12.50 per hour plus £52 sleep-in allowance

What you need for the Senior RCW role in Twickenham:
· Must hold a Recognised Health and Social Care qualification Level 3 Children & Young People or Children and Young People’s Workforce or equivalent for children’s units only.
· Minimum of 3 years of recent experience working within a children's residential home
· Full driving licence and own car
· Ability to write clear and accurate reports
· Must be able to shift lead team of support workers
· An enhanced DBS certificate will be required upon appointment.
Main duties and Responsibilities:
· To lead and motivate your team.
· To support young people to achieve maximum potential
· Undertaking 24hrs shifts with “sleep-in” duties in accordance with the home’s rota.
