Responsibilities of the Deputy Nursery Manager in Hitchin:
• To take the role of manager when the nursery manager is absent.
• Promoting best practice in the nursery.
• Displaying a real passion for childcare.
• Effectively lead and manage a team.
• Communicate well with management, colleagues, parents and children.
• Lead by example.
What are we looking for in the Deputy Nursery Manager in Hitchin?
• Minimum Level 3 in Childcare.
• Experience of being a deputy nursery manager before.
• Solid understanding of Health and Safety procedures and policies within a nursery.
• Strong communication skills.
• A passion for delivering the best Childcare Provision.
• EYFS, Ofsted, Safeguarding, FGM, FBV and First Aid knowledge is important.
• DBS and First Aid certification required.
