- Residential Childrens Support Worker (RCW) that is based in between Macclesfield and Heald Green
We are recruiting for a compassionate and experienced Childcare professional to work as a Residential Children's Support Worker (RCW) for a home that supports children with learning difficulties based in Macclesfield.
The company is a small business whom has the care of young people embedded into the whole ethos of the organisation including their recruitment process.

- Must hold a recognised Health and Social Care qualification Level 3
- Minimum of 12 months recent experience working within children or adults with learning disabilities.
- Full driving licence
- Ability to write clear and accurate reports
- An enhanced DBS certificate will be required upon appointment
- To contribute to the Care Planning process of children cared for
- Attending and preparing for children’s conferences, reviews, planning, core group and other meetings in connection with children placed with the company
- Maintaining children’s records accurately and within agreed time-scales
- Undertaking Key Worker responsibilities conscientiously and in accordance with agreed time-scales
- To participate and contribute to the collation and preparation of Assessment and Action Records (when this is in accordance with the child’s care plan).
- Availability to work shifts between 7am - 11pm, or 7am - 2pm, 2pm-11pm. Working on average 2.5days per week. Usual shift is 1 day on, 2 days off though sometimes this can change - NO SLEEP-INS
