- Registered Manager required for a children's home in the Oldham area of Greater Manchester.
The Registered Manager role in Oldham is a full-time, permanent position and is based in a four bedded home supporting young people aged 10- 17 years with emotional and behavioural needs.
The service is a new provision and the Registered Manager will be involved in recruiting own staff team.
What they can offer for the Registered Manager role in Oldham, Greater Manchester- £36- £40K per annum
- Generous holiday entitlement
- Minimum level 3 QCF qualification in residential childcare or equivalent
- Ideally either hold a level 5 qualification in leadership and management, or be working towards or willing to work towards.
- Essential car driver
- Previous experience of working with children and young people in a residential setting within the last 5 years and at least 1 year in a management role in this environment
- To be ‘fit’ to manage the home in accordance with current Children’s Homes Regulations and National Minimum Standards for Children’s
- To manage a Residential Home and ensure the efficient operation of the service in accordance with the relevant legislation, procedures, policies and the Statement of Purpose for the home.
- To be part of an On-Call system
