- Deputy Nursery Manager required for a quality 70 place setting in the Altrincham area to cover maternity leave (12 month contract).
We are looking for an individual with a passion and enthusiasm for delivering high quality care and learning experiences with an emphasis on staff development.
What the employer can offer for the Deputy Nursery Manager role in Altrincham:
· £10.50 - £11 per hour (£21840 - £22880 per annum DOE)

What you need for the Deputy Nursery Manager role in Altrincham:
· Ideally have existing deputy level experience within a nursery setting, but will consider experienced Room Leaders with experience of performing staff supervisions and chairing team meetings.
· Must be at least Level 3 qualified
· Have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted
· An excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families
· Experience of managing/supervising staff
· Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside agencies
· Managing and maintaining administration requirements
What is involved:
· Supporting the manager in the day to day management of the provision and acting up in their absence
· 50% based in room and 50% supernumerary
· Managing an established team of Room Leaders, Practitioners, Kitchen staff and Apprentices.
· Ensure that all children attending the setting are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
· Ensuring that all legislation in relation to Ofsted registration, special needs, safeguarding and Health and Safety is complied with and that company policies and procedures are adhered to.
· Deploying staff appropriately
· Co-ordination of tasks and responsibilities and the ability to delegate where necessary
