Nursery Chef required to cater for two children’s day nurseries based from one site in Camden.
What the employer can offer for the Nursery Chef role in Camden:
  • Part time or full time hours available (core hours to be worked 6am until 12pm Monday to Friday)
  • 19k – 23400K per annum dependent on experience and qualifications (pro-rata if part time equates to £9.74 - £12 per hour).
  • Opportunity to set up new kitchens creating systems from scratch
What you need for the Nursery Chef role in Camden:
  • Level 2 or above Food & Hygiene or equivalent.
  • Experience of catering in either a Nursery, School, or Care Home
  • A love of children
  • Responsible and reliable attitude – children need to eat each day!
  • A caring and kind personality – warm towards the children
  • Strong adherence to allergens and allergen awareness
  • Strict attitude to food safety, food hygiene and cleanliness
What is involved:
  • Preparing and catering lunch for 100 children daily from a menu developed alongside the Nursery Director and following a plant based - vegan format.
  • The nurseries are based at 2 separate sites and meals will be couriered to the provisions.
  • Responsible for stock levels, budget control and ordering of stock.
  • Ensuring cleanliness of kitchen at all time.
  • Following guidelines with regards to catering for children.
