Description
I am currently recruiting for a qualified nursery practitioner in Caldecotte, Milton Keynes. This nursery is Ofsted rated Good, and is bright, homely and spacious with a fantastic outside area for children to enjoy; an environment that is safe and secure.

The role is available on a full-time, permanent basis. The setting is part of a reputable chain of nurseries, and is open from 7.30am - 6.30pm. You will work 40 hours per week, split into 8 hour shifts between the nurseries opening times. We can also consider candidates who would prefer to work 4 longer shifts with an extra day off in the week.

Salary for the role is £8.25 - £8.30 per hour

The welfare of the children in care is paramount and through an excellent key-worker system professionals are able to ensure that the individual needs of every child are met.
As well as providing all the activities you would expect from a top-quality nursery, the team also offer extra curriculum activities such as yoga, French, music & movement and sing & sign. They believe these activities are simply part of a quality brand and should be enjoyed by all children – therefore these programmes are provided at no extra cost.

Requirements of the Nursery Nurse role in Milton keynes:

- Level 3 qualification (or higher) in childcare
- Experience working in a private day nursery with children aged 0-5
- Availability to work full time
- Passion for childcare
- Strong knowledge of the early years curriculum
- Based in Milton Keynes or easily commutable to Caldecotte, Milton Keynes

Responsibilities of the Nursery Practitoner role in Milton keynes
  • Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
  • Ensuring health, safety and well-being of the children at all times
  • Being a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS
  • Overseeing the smooth running and high quality practice within the room (Room Leader only)
