- We have a fantastic opportunity for a Deputy Manager in Catford, London.
Our client's 120 place nursery in Catford is a lovely place to work, set in a purpose-designed building with parking. Inside the rooms are split into 4 main areas appropriate for each age group, the rooms are bright and fully stocked with great resources for daily learning and fun.
This is a Permanent Full-Time position based on 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 07.30 – 18.30.
Closed 1 week at Christmas and Bank Holidays.
Offering a competitive salary of:
£24,000 to £25,000 per year – negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities of the Deputy Manager in Catford, London:- Reporting and working alongside the nursery manager.
- Being responsible for the setting when the manager is absent.
- Maintain positive working partnerships with staff, parents and carer.
- Support nursery staff in all areas.
- Promoting best practice within the nursery.
- Displaying a real passion for childcare.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

What are we looking for in the Deputy Manager in Catford, London?- Minimum Level 3 in Childcare.
- Minimum 1 year’s management experience and 3 years Childcare experience.
- Solid understanding of Health and Safety procedures and policies within a nursery.
- Strong communication skills.
- A passion for delivering the best Childcare Provision.
- EYFS, Safeguarding, Ofsted knowledge is essential.
- DBS and First Aid certification required.
