- We have a great opportunity for an individual whom is passionate about childcare to start their career working with children as an Apprentice Nursery Nurse. There is no upper age restriction for apprentices and we welcome applicants from 16 to 65+.
The role is based in an Outstanding setting in Aylesbury. The Nursery has a fantastic reputation and has the highest level of childcare standards. The company is very supportive of staff with great salaries, benefits and training schemes.
You will be working within the Early Years Team, duties/ responsibilities of the apprentices Nursery Nurse role will include:- Support the planning and implementation of activities with individual or groups of children
- Promote effective teaching and learning
- Be part of the Early Years Team to provide a purposeful, stimulating environment rich in learning opportunities, both indoors and outdoors
- To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children
- To keep records of your key children’s development and learning journeys and share with parents, carers and other key adults in the child’s life
- To develop and maintain strong partnerships and communication with parents/carers to facilitate day-to-day caring and early learning needs
- Experience of working in childcare
- Understanding of child development
- Be able to work 40 hrs per week between 7.30am and 6.30pm
- Commutable distance to Aylesbury Manchester
- Full training and support will be provided.
- National minimum wage from £4.80 - £8.20 (higher than apprenticeship wage) dependent on age and experience and qualifications

This role is for a 18 - 24 month period and you will gain a level 2 or a level 3 in childcare. There will be a permanent position at the end of the apprenticeship.
