- We are recruiting for a childcare apprenticeship supervisor within a small chain of nurseries across Trafford and Cheshire
Job Summary
An apprentice supervisor is responsible for guiding and supporting apprentices within the nursery group, overseeing their on-the-job learning, and ensuring they meet their performance targets and development goals.
Key duties of the Childcare Apprenticeship Supervisor- Supporting apprentices across the settings
- providing coaching and feedback,
- coordinating with trainers and mentors,
- monitoring progress,
- ensuring health and safety, and
- managing workloads and projects.
Essential requirements of the Childcare Apprenticeship Supervisor- Have own car and able to travel between sites
- An understanding off the early years level 2 and level 3 apprenticeship qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years working with Apprenticeships and a good knowledge of all the processes.
- Knowledge and experience of Professional Coaching and/or Mentoring
- ability to review learners performance
- problem solving skills
- Excellent level of communication skills,
- Excellent Project Management and IT skills
- Ability to work on their own and be self-motivated
- Will need to be DBS approved
