Description
We are recruiting for a Nursery Manager at an extremely impressive setting based in Congleton Cheshire offering a salary of £30000 - £33000 (starting salary will be £30-£31k) depending on experience.

The setting is part of a successful Nursery chain. they are at the forefront of the childcare industry, have a great reputation for supporting and developing staff alongside high standards of care for children.

We are looking for an individual with a passion and enthusiasm for delivering high quality care and learning experiences with an emphasis on staff development.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Supporting the Manager to Manage an established team of Room Leaders, Practitioners, Kitchen staff and Apprentices.
  • Ensure that all children attending the setting are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
  • Ensuring that all legislation in relation to Ofsted registration, special needs, safeguarding and Health and Safety is complied with and that company policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Deploying staff appropriately and working closely with the  Manager
  • checking stanadrtds and compliance within the rooms
  • Co-ordination of tasks and responsibilities and the ability to delegate where necessary
Experience required
  • Must have experience working at Senior room Leader or deputy nursery manager 
  • Must be at least Level 3 qualified.
  • Have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted
  • Experience of managing budgets.
  • An excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families
  • Experience of managing/supervising staff WITH extensive knowledge of Safeguarding
  • Experience of working in partnership with parents 
  • Able to demonstrate  experience of leading staff meetings,
  • Managing and maintaining administration requirements
