- Bamboo Childcare are recruiting on behalf of our client - a beautiful 100 place, Ofsted rated "Outstanding" private day nursery based in Aylesbury
The setting already has a manager, but is looking to bolster the management team by adding a 2nd manager to the team to share the day-to-day responsibilities of running the setting. You will receive full support when joining the business from the current manager, with a view to working alongside them as a team when you have settled in!
Key Responsibilities of the Nursery Manager job in Aylesbury:- Ensuring a high standard of physical, personal, emotional, social care and education for all children in the nursery
The day-to-day management of the nursery including quality improvement, administration, communication as required.
We are looking for someone with experience in Early Years Management - ideally a Nursery Manager, although we are happy to consider strong Deputy Managers who are looking to step up to the next level of their career.- The role is available on a full time, permanent basis - the nursery is open from 8am to 6pm and you would be expected to work a shift in between these hours.
- Available to work full-time
- Level 3 qualified or higher
- Experience working as a Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager at a Good or Outstanding setting
- Expert knowledge of the OFSTED Framework, Early Years requirements and legislation
- Safeguarding Designated Officer trained
- Thorough knowledge of SEND (SENCO trained is desirable)
- Based in Aylesbury or easily commutable to this area - ideally a driver or close by using public transport
