- Deputy Manager required for a residential childcare setting (children's home) in Oldham, that supports children with learning disabilities
MUST HAVE LEVEL 3 IN RESIDENTIAL CHILDCARE OR EQUIVALENT AND AT LEAST 12 MONTHS RECENT SENIOR EXPERIENCE IN A CHILDRENS HOME AND HAVE WORKED WITH CHILDREN WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES
We are recruiting for a compassionate and experienced Childcare professional to work as Deputy Manager for a residential childcare setting (children's home) that supports young people aged 11 - 17 years with learning disabilities (short break service)
The company is a small business whom has the care of young people embedded into the whole ethos of the organisation including their recruitment process.

· Salary £28392 - £29406 per annum exclusive of sleep-ins (sleep-ins are paid at £40 per sleep)

What you need for the Deputy Manager (Residential childcare) role in Oldham:
· Must hold a Recognised Health and Social Care qualification Level 3 Children & Young People or Children and Young People’s Workforce or equivalent for children’s units only.
· Minimum of 12 months recent senior level experience working within a children's residential home
· Full UK driving licence
· To have worked with children with learning disabilities
· Ability to write clear and accurate reports
· An enhanced DBS certificate will be required upon appointment.
Main duties and Responsibilities:
· Support registered manager to run home
. To lead and motivate your team.
· To support young people to achieve maximum potential
· Undertaking shifts to cover 7 days per week with the home’s rota.
