- Deputy Nursery Manager required for a medium sized setting in the Clerkenwell area. the nursery is part of a fantastic small chain which has significant resources.
We are looking for an individual with a passion and enthusiasm for delivering high quality care and learning experiences with an emphasis on staff development.

What you need for the Deputy Nursery Manager role in Clerkenwell:- Ideally have existing deputy level experience within a nursery setting, but will consider experienced Room Leaders with experience of performing staff supervisions and chairing team meetings.
- Must be at least Level 3 qualified
- Have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted
- An excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families
- Experience of managing/supervising staff
- Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside agencies
- Managing and maintaining administration requirements
What is involved:- Supporting the manager in the day to day management of the provision and acting up in their absence
- Managing an established team of Room Leaders, Practitioners, Kitchen staff and Apprentices.
- Ensure that all children attending the setting are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
- Ensuring that all legislation in relation to Ofsted registration, special needs, safeguarding and Health and Safety is complied with and that company policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Deploying staff appropriately
- Co-ordination of tasks and responsibilities and the ability to delegate where necessary
