- We are recruiting for an experienced administrator to work in a busy nursery setting which provides care to children aged 0 - 4 years in the Withington area..
What the Nursery Administrator role in the Withington area can offer:- £10 per hour
- 37 hours a week
- Hours with an early finish Friday (8am-4pm Mon-Thu and 8am-3.30pm Fridays)
- Contributory pension
- To manage reception which includes answering all calls in a timely manner taking messages & forwarding them on to the relevant people.
- Welcome parents and visitors, ensuring they have signed in on arrival, and signed out when departing
- Dealing with post, collections and deliveries – ensuring they go to the right people
- Support the management team with arranging, co-ordinating and managing the office workload
- Preparation of resources and materials including school books, registers, visitor books, escort handover docs etc – checking they are up to date, making changes when necessary
- Order and distribute school supplies, stationery, education supplies, equipment, first aid supplies, weekly food shop etc. and ensure sufficient stock levels
- Liaise with parents and pass on parent enquires to the appropriate staff member.
- Monitoring and recording consent forms
- Sending letters out to parents as directed.
- Ensure records are kept up to date (medical, data collection forms, registrations etc)
- Prepare and update school records and consent documentation.
- To safeguard children at all times
- Experience of administrative roles in an office environment
- Proven customer service skills
- Good communication skills for telephone and face to face conversations
- Ability to write clear and accurate reports
- An enhanced DBS certificate will be required upon appointment.
