Description
Room Leader required for a beautiful  Montessori setting in Clapham, the site is part of a small successful chain
This role is a permanent position working over 30 - 40 hours on a rota basis (full-days only)

the role is to be in babsie or the pre-school room

What you need for the Room Leader role in Clapham,, London
  • Level3 in Childcare, or fuklly recongnised montessori qualification that counts in ratio
  • understandong of the Montessori method 
  • Sound knowledge of EYFS
  • Organisational skills
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Positive individual that loves working as a team
  • Experience of working with children
  • Punctuality, patience, reliability and trustworthiness.
  • senior experience in a nursery

Responsibilities of the Room Leaderin Clapham, London include:
  • managing a small team
  • taking responsibility for the displays in the room
  • mentoring and supporting Nursery nurses 
  • Displaying a real passion for childcare.
  • Communicate well with management, colleagues, parents and children.
  • Observe and plan for your key children using the EYFS.
  • Ensure the needs of the children are met, giving physical, emotional and intellectual guidance as appropriate.
  • Lunch/snacks duty
  • Promoting best practice in the nursery.
  • Effectively supporting team members
