- Nursery Cook required to cater for young children in a large sized early years’ setting in the Chell area of Stoke-on-Trent.

What the employer can offer for the Nursery Cook role in the Chell area of Stoke-on-Trent:- 30 hours (Monday to Friday)
- £9.50 per hour
- Contributory pension
- Level 2 or above Food & Hygiene or equivalent.
- Ideally experience of catering in either a Nursery, School, or Care Home, but if not catering experience with good understanding of allergies and food intolerances
- A love of children
- Responsible and reliable attitude – children need to eat each day!
- A caring and kind personality – warm towards the children
- Strong adherence to allergens and allergen awareness
- Strict attitude to food safety, food hygiene and cleanliness
- Preparing and catering meals for children daily from an existing menu plan.
- Responsible for stock levels, budget control and ordering of stock.
- Ensuring cleanliness of kitchen at all time.
- Following guidelines with regards to catering for children.
