Description
SENCO Early Years Lead Practitioner required for a high-quality Nursery in the Westminster area of London . The role will be as a Room leader for the pre-school room and being the SEN lead for the nursery

What you need for the SENCO Lead Practitioner role in  Westminster, London :
  • Experience supporting children with special education needs
  • Ideally hold a level 3 qualification in childcare
  • Enthusiasm and genuine passion for developing and nurturing children
  • Senior Nursery Nurse or room leader experience 

What is involved:
  • Providing a safe, nurturing and educational environment for children in early years and supporting children with special education needs
  • Liaising with multi agencies involved in care of children.
  • To organise and lead meetings with parents, outside agencies and colleagues
  • To support staff with the implementation of play /health care plans
  • Liaise closely with the behaviour management co-ordinator
  • To oversee transition
  • To conduct and audit for the nursery Development Plan
