- We are recruiting for a Nursery Manager in Leavesden, Hertfordshire
The setting is a quality medium early years provision providing full Daycare for children aged 0 -5 years. It is part of a small expanding successful nursery chain.
The role would suit a very strong Deputy or existing manager who is confident and that can motivate a team and improve occupancy through improving reputation and links with the local community
This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday - 40 hours a week.

- Previous Nursery Manager experience, excellent EYFS, Safeguarding and FBV knowledge
- Experience of working in an Ofsted Good or Outstanding setting, preparing for Ofsted experience
- Excellent communication skills and leadership skills
- A passionate and positive attitude towards working with children
- A full and relevant child care qualification (level 3 or above)
- Ideally hold some Montessori experience
- Being responsible and accountable for the day to day operational and organisational aspects of the nursery in line with policies and procedures, safeguarding, Ofsted requirements, local authority guidance, health and safety and equal opportunities.
- Ensure that all aspects of the Statutory Framework for Early Years Foundation Stage and welfare requirements are delivered to the highest standard.
- Work in partnership with local childcare / education providers, health providers and all other agencies.
- Develop and maintain procedures for review and assessment of each child’s progress.
- Be a role model for your staff team
