- Description
- Term time only Early Years Nursery Manager (Preschool Manager / Nursery Manager) required for a 20 place preschool provision caring for children aged 2 to 4 years of age open between 8:45am to 3:15pm. This is a permanent position working 33 hours term time only (39 weeks)
The nursery offers offer a wide range of indoor and outdoor experiences in our natural and calm environment, including all-year round Forest School experiences in our purpose-designed Forest School area.

- Management level experience within a good or outstanding setting (will consider experienced Deputy Managers)
- Must hold a minimum level 3 qualification in early years / childcare
- Strong understanding of the EYFS
- Proven experience in performance management such as supervision meetings, appraisals and setting objectives.
- Ability to effectively market the setting to maximise occupancy levels and fee income.
- Good communication skills.
The role of Early Years Manager will include:- Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
- Ensuring health, safety and well-being of the children at all times
- Leading and motivating a team of Early Years Professionals
- Developing practise and ensuring standards are met
