- We are recruiting for a Senior Deputy Nursery Manager in the Adlington area
The setting is a newly acquired nursey and therefore needs a strong Deputy with excellent staff management skills. The setting is a large setting with a 'good' rated Ofsted providing quality early years provision providing full daycare for children aged 0 -5 years. the role will involve managing the setting alongside the current Manager and also periods of sole management of the setting.

- Must have Previous Deputy Nursery Manager experience, excellent EYFS, Safeguarding and FBV knowledge)
- Experience of working in an Ofsted Good or Outstanding setting, preparing for Ofsted experience
- Excellent communication skills and leadership skills
- A passionate and positive attitude towards working with children
- A full and relevant child care qualification (level 3 or above)
- Must be at least Level 3 qualified
- Have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted
- Experience of managing/supervising staff with extensive knowledge of Safeguarding
- Experience of Recruitment procedures
- Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside agencies.
- Able to demonstrate multi agency working and experience of leading staff meetings,
- Managing and maintaining administration requirements
- Supporting the manager in all aspects of running the nursery setting
- Ensure that all aspects of the Statutory Framework for Early Years Foundation Stage and welfare requirements are delivered to the highest standard.
- Work in partnership with local childcare / education providers, health providers and all other agencies.
- Develop and maintain procedures for review and assessment of each child’s progress.
- Be a role model for your staff team
