- Nursery Cook required to cater for two children’s day nurseries based from one site in Camden.
MUST HAVE FORMAL CATERING EXPERIENCE WITHIN A NURSERY, SCHOOL OR CARE HOME
What the employer can offer for the Nursery Cook role in Camden:- Part time or full time hours available (core hours to be worked 6am until 12pm Monday to Friday)
- £10.00 - £13.50 per hour
- Plant based menu
- Level 2 or above Food & Hygiene or equivalent.
- Experience of catering in either a Nursery, School, or Care Home
- A love of children
- Responsible and reliable attitude – children need to eat each day!
- A caring and kind personality – warm towards the children
- Strong adherence to allergens and allergen awareness
- Ideally understanding of vegan diet and allergies
- Strict attitude to food safety, food hygiene and cleanliness
- Preparing and catering lunch for 100 children daily from a menu developed alongside the Nursery Director and following a plant based - vegan format.
- The nurseries are based at 2 separate sites and meals will be couriered to the provisions.
- Responsible for stock levels, budget control and ordering of stock.
- Ensuring cleanliness of kitchen at all time.
- Following guidelines with regards to catering for children.
