- Bamboo Childcare are recruiting a Deputy Nursery Manager (Assistant Nursery Manager) on behalf of our client - a large, Ofsted rated "Outstanding" private day nursery based in the Haddenham area of Buckinghamshire.

What the employer can offer for the Deputy Nursery Manager role in the Haddenham area of Buckinghamshire:
· 25k – 27k per annum dependent on experience and qualifications
· Annual bonus paid in April each year
· 23 days plus 8 bank holidays pro-rated

What you need for the Deputy Nursery Manager role in the Haddenham area of Buckinghamshire area:
· Must have experience working at deputy management level or above
· Must be at least Level 3 qualified
· Ideally baby or toddler based experience as role is room based
· Have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted
· An excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families
· Experience of managing/supervising staff WITH extensive knowledge of Safeguarding
· Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside agencies
· Able to demonstrate multi agency working and experience of leading staff meetings.
· Managing and maintaining administration requirements
What is involved:
· Supporting the Manager with administrative running of the setting (partly based across the rooms and partly supernumerary based - would be based in baby /toddler room).
· Ensure that all children attending the setting are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
· Ensuring that all legislation in relation to Ofsted registration, special needs, safeguarding and Health and Safety is complied with and that company policies and procedures are adhered to.
· Deploying staff appropriately
· Co-ordination of tasks and responsibilities and the ability to delegate where necessary
