- Description
- This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nursery Manager to work in a Support role across a number of nurseries in the Cornwall and Plymouth area.
This is part of a small and successful nursery chain with expansion plans
To apply for this role, you must have worked extensively as a successful nursery manager and ideally have some experience training and supporting other managers or mentoring

- Previous Nursery Manager experience, excellent EYFS, Safeguarding and FBV knowledge
- Experience of working in an Ofsted Good or Outstanding setting, preparing for Ofsted experience
- Excellent communication skills and leadership skills
- A passionate and positive attitude towards working with children
- be able to travel across multiple locations
- A full and relevant child care qualification (level 3 or above)
- Being responsible and accountable for the day to day operational and organisational aspects of the nursery in line with policies and procedures, safeguarding, Ofsted requirements, local authority guidance, health and safety and equal opportunities.
- Ensure that all aspects of the Statutory Framework for Early Years Foundation Stage and welfare requirements are delivered to the highest standard.
- Work in partnership with local childcare / education providers, health providers and all other agencies.
- Develop and maintain procedures for review and assessment of each child’s progress.
- Be a role model for your staff team
