- Description
- We are recruiting for a Nursery Manager in the Wadebridge area of Cornwall.
The setting is a small setting that has a waiting list and an amazing reputation in the local community for high quality childcare. This role would suit a Deputy looking for that next step up or an experienced Manager that is looking for a small community based nursery
This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday - 40 hours a week.

- Previous Nursery Manager experience, excellent EYFS, Safeguarding and FBV knowledge
- Experience of working in an Ofsted Good or Outstanding setting, preparing for Ofsted experience
- Excellent communication skills and leadership skills
- A passionate and positive attitude towards working with children
- A full and relevant child care qualification (level 3 or above)
- Being responsible and accountable for the day to day operational and organisational aspects of the nursery in line with policies and procedures, safeguarding, Ofsted requirements, local authority guidance, health and safety and equal opportunities.
- Ensure that all aspects of the Statutory Framework for Early Years Foundation Stage and welfare requirements are delivered to the highest standard.
- Work in partnership with local childcare / education providers, health providers and all other agencies.
- Develop and maintain procedures for review and assessment of each child’s progress.
- Be a role model for your staff team
