Description
Nursery Nurse required for a fantastic nursery that is part of a small group of settings in Walton-on-Thames.
This role is a permanent full-time position working40 hours over 4 days on a rota basis between the hours of 7.15 am and 6.30pm

What you need for the Nursery Nurse role in Walton-on-Thames
  • level 2 or 3 in Childcare. (will also consider a strong unqualified who can go on the apprenticeship scheme)
  • Sound knowledge of EYFS
  • Organisational skills
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Positive individual that loves working as a team
  • Experience of working with children
  • Punctuality, patience, reliability and trustworthiness.
Responsibilities of the Nursery Nurse in Walton-on-Thames include
  • Displaying a real passion for childcare.
  • Communicate well with management, colleagues, parents and children.
  • Observe and plan for your key children using the EYFS.
  • Ensure the needs of the children are met, giving physical, emotional and intellectual guidance as appropriate.
  • Lunch/snacks duty
  • Promoting best practice in the nursery.
  • Effectively supporting team members
