- Senior Residential Support worker / Senior RCW required for a 4 bedded children's home in Oldham.
MUST HAVE LEVEL 3 IN RESIDENTIAL CHILDCARE OR EQUIVALENT AND AT LEAST 12 MONTHS RECENT EXPERIENCE IN A CHILDRENS HOME
We are recruiting for a compassionate and experienced Childcare professional to work as Senior Residential Support Worker (Senior RCW) for a home that supports young people aged 11 - 17 years with emotional and behavioural needs (EBD) in Oldham.
The company is a small business whom has the care of young people embedded into the whole ethos of the organisation including their recruitment process.
What the role can offer:
· Salary £21294 to £24,336 per annum plus sleep-ins at £40 per sleep (sleep- ins equate to approximately extra £3760k annually so total salary would be £25,054 to £28,096)

What you need for the Senior RCW role in Oldham:
· Must hold a Recognised Health and Social Care qualification Level 3 Children & Young People or Children and Young People’s Workforce or equivalent for children’s units only.
· Minimum of 12 months recent experience working within a children's residential home
· Full driving licence
· Ability to write clear and accurate reports
· Must have a full UK driving licence
· An enhanced DBS certificate will be required upon appointment.
Main duties and Responsibilities:
· To lead and motivate your team.
· To support young people to achieve maximum potential
· Undertaking 24hrs shifts with “sleep-in” duties in accordance with the home’s rota.
