- Level 3 Room Leader role for a well-established nursery that is part of a small and successful chain in Stretford, Trafford, Greater Manchester
This is a permanent position for 40 hrs per week Monday to Friday. this role requires a confident individual who has lead a team in a nursery previously
Salary £20800 - £21840 per year
The role of Room Leader in Stretford, Trafford will include:- Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
- Ensuring health, safety and well-being of the children at all times
- Being a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS
- leading a team of practitioners
- Ensuring ratios are adhered to at all times
- Checking paperwork is completed appropriately
- Minimum level 3 in childcare
- Ideally EYT/EYP status or a degree
- worked with Pre-school children
- previously managed a room within a nursery
- Ability to plan effectively within the EYFS
- An understanding of 'In the Moment Planning'
- To complete observations
- Excellent communication skills
