- Level 3 Room Leader role for a well-established nursery with an 'outstanding' Ofsted rating in Wanstead, Greater London
This is a permanent position for 40 hrs per week Monday to Friday. Based in the babies/toddlers room and therefore experience with this age range is essential, this role requires a confident individual.
Salary £19500 - £22500
The setting is very child-centric in approach and prioritises quality interactions between adult and child by ensuring appropriate ratios and reflective practice.
The role of Room Leader in Wanstead will include:- Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
- Ensuring health, safety and well-being of the children at all times
- Being a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS
- leading a team of practitioners
- Ensuring ratios are adhered to at all times
- Checking paperwork is completed appropriately
- Minimum level 3 in childcare and post-qualifying work experience or relevant degree
- worked with Babies/toddlers
- Ability to plan effectively within the EYFS
- A working knowledge of 'In the Moment Planning'
- To complete observations
