- Level 3 Room Leader role for a well-established nursery with a 'Good' Ofsted rating in Stretford, Greater Manchester.
This is a permanent position for 40 hrs per week Monday to Friday. Based in the baby room and therefore experience with this age range is essential, this role requires a confident individual who would aspire to be a room leader
Salary £18500 - £19500 per annum.
The setting is very child centric in approach and prioritises quality interactions between adult and child by ensuring appropriate ratios and reflective practice.
The role of Room Leader will include:- Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
- Ensuring health, safety and well-being of the children at all times
- Being a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS
- leading a team of practitioners
- Ensuring ratios are adhered to at all times
- Checking paperwork is completed appropriately
- Minimum level 3 in childcare and post-qualifying work experience or relevant degree
- worked with babies
- Ability to plan effectively within the EYFS
- To complete observations
- Excellent communication skills
