- Senior Support Worker (Residential Child Care Worker / Senior RCW) in Stockport and Cheshire area.
We are recruiting for a compassionate and experienced Childcare professional to work as Senior Support Worker (Senior RCW) for a home that supports children with learning difficulties based in Stockport and Cheshire area.
The company is a small business whom has the care of young people embedded into the whole ethos of the organisation including their recruitment process.
What the Senior Support Worker role can offer you:- Salary of £21,294k - £24,336k plus sleep-in allowance.
- Working shifts including 24hrs with a sleep-in.

- To lead and motivate your team.
- To prepare and operate a rota system that will ensure suitable levels of safety, security and care and oversight for the children cared for in your establishment.
- To contribute to the Care Planning process of children cared for by the company.
Experience and Qualifications for the Senior Support Worker- Must hold a Recognised Health and Social Care qualification Level 3 Children & Young People or Children and Young People’s Workforce or equivalent for children’s units only or level 3 in health and social care with senior level experience.
- Minimum of 12 months recent experience working within a children's residential home. if experience within adult learning disabilities must have senior experience
- Full driving licence
- Ability to write clear and accurate reports
- Must have a full UK driving licence
- An enhanced DBS certificate will be required upon appointment
