- Level 2 or 3 Nursery Nurse role in Stretford, Greater Manchester.
We are recruiting for a skilled level 2 or 3 Nursery Nurse in Stretford for this well-established nursery with a 'Good' Ofsted rating.
This is a permanent position for 40 hrs per week Monday to Friday.
Salary £17k - £18.5k per annum
The nursery has a strong emphasis on both childcare and staff development.
Stretford is close to Chorlton, Old Trafford, Didsbury, Sale, Urmston, Withington, Eccles.
This is an opportunity for an experienced Nursery Nurse or a graduate to work within a setting that provides training and development opportunities for its staff.
The setting is very child centric in approach and prioritises quality interactions between adult and child by ensuring appropriate ratios and reflective practice.
The role of Nursery Nurse will include:- Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
- Ensuring health, safety and well-being of the children at all times
- Being a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS
- Minimum level 2 or 3 in childcare and ideally post qualifying work experience or relevant degree
- Ability to plan effectively within the EYFS
- To complete observations
- Excellent communication skills
