- Bamboo Childcare are currently recruiting for a level 3 Practitioner to work 25 hours per week, between the hours of 1pm and 6pm/6.30pm.

The role of Level 3 Practitioner in Slough for the after school club involves- Completing admin for the after school club between 1pm and 3pm
- To provide a safe and welcoming environment for children, parents and carers.
- To provide the highest standards of childcare and excellent levels of customer service at all times.
- To understand fully and adhere to the company’s policies and procedures at all times.
- To plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and evaluate as required.
- To demonstrate current knowledge and understanding of the EYFS.
- To have an understanding that safeguarding is everybody’s responsibility and that you have a duty to act accordingly & report any concerns.
- To ensure the smooth running of the setting including supervision of staff.
- Promote a warm and understanding relationship between children and parents in a stable, relaxed and secure atmosphere.
- Encourage children in self-help, personal hygiene and acceptable social behaviour in a positive way. Provide intimate care as needed following the intimate care policy.
- Help identify any areas of concern in regard to a child’s behaviour offering support and guidance to other team members. Liaise with others as required.
- Involve parents/carers in the induction, care and progress of their children at club.
- Work in partnership with parents/carers.
- Ideally to have worked with the EYFS and with school aged children.
- Level 3 in childcare
- great Administration and IT skills
- Ability to liaise with parents and outside professionals
- A great hourly salary of £11 per hor
